Indie Royale is back with a Back to School Bundle

In this new bundle from Indie Royale, you can pick up seven awesome games for just $5.53 at the moment. As always if you pay $8.00 or more you can receive a chiptune album. This time it’s minusbaby’s BIAS album which you can take a listen to here. But onto the games, the main highlight of the bundle is the Indie Royale exclusive debut of Bunny Must Die! Chelsea And The 7 Devils. The game by Rockin Android will be released next month, therefore if you’re dying to play the game early, you can pick it up now and receive some other games to boot. Below is the rest of the games featured in this bundle. In addition, you’ll receive the Super Saucy Sausage DLC for Swords & Soldiers, and the soundtracks for Cute Things Dying Violently, Bunny Must Die!, Swords & Soldiers, and Lunar Flight. I thoroughly enjoy Swords & Soldiers (side-scrolling RTS) and Sequence (RPG, DDR-esque like game), so I definitely recommend the bundle for those games. For more information about the games, I’ve attached the blog post detailing about the bundle’s debut along with the trailer.

Indie Royale blog post:

Summer is over and fall is on the horizon; for many it’s time to go back to school! But don’t let the “back-to-school blues” get you down, Indie Royale’s got you covered with the Back to School Bundle featuring seven great indie games, including an exclusive debut for Bunny Must Die! from Rockin’ Android!

First up is a game where you can re-write history while you are studying it – Ronimo Games’ side-scrolling real-time strategy game, Swords & Soldiers with the awesome Super Saucy Sausage Fest DLC, available for Windows, Mac and Linux on Steam, Desura and DRM-free. [NOTE: Super Saucy Sausage Fest DLC is not available for Linux users – apologies!] This beautifully crafted game offers humorous wit and solid game-play while you take control of the brutal Vikings, the devious Aztecs or the crafty Chinese in their global quest to win the favor of the Gods. The Super Saucy Sausage Fest DLC offers ten new campaigns, an improved challenge mode, and plenty of new spells and units. GameSpot praises Swords & Soldiers: “its simple controls and abounding good humour are likely to engage even those who have never dipped their controllers into the strategy pool.”

Next up is a space simulation game that’s sure to inform your studies about the moon landing from Shovsoft, Lunar Flight available for Windows on Steam, Desura and DRM-free. This full 3D game is a re-imagining of the classic Atari game Lunar Lander and offers mission types involving transporting cargo, acquiring data at survey locations and locating lost cargo in a 3D world. DIYGamer raves about Lunar Flight, stating that it “sets the bar for Lunar Lander-likes (…) Shovsoft have created a fresh-faced and wonderfully playable space simulator that I urge everyone to try.”

As if that weren’t enough, also featured is an exclusive debut that’s sure to get your brain working with exploration-based platformer challenges, Bunny Must Die: Chelsea and the 7 Devils available for for Windows on Desura and DRM-free. This hilarious Japanese ‘Metroidvania’-esque game is brought to you by Platine Dispositif and Rockin’ Android, and features Bunny as she explores the Devil’s’ Labyrinth, using magical items like a Sylph Shooter and Hyper Heels to manipulate the fabric of time, solve puzzles and survive. You can’t miss Bunny Must Die! which offers a comical style, hand-drawn 2-D graphics, a charming storyline and an unlockable character.

Also included is a clever game that’ll stimulate both the right and left sides of your brain by offering rhythm action and role-playing-game spellcasting — Sequence from Iridium Studios, available for Windows on Steam, Desura and DRM-free. You’ll play Ky, after he awakens imprisoned in a tower and has to ascend 7 levels of the tower guided with the help of a mysterious girl named Naia. With a standout in-game soundtrack that you fight along in time to, TruePCGaming praises Sequence for its dialogue developed by Jason Wishnov calling it “one of the funniest, well-written scripts that has ever graced a computer game.”

Additionally, this bundle includes two more games from Rockin’ Android never before available in a bundle – the hidden Japanese shmup gems Flying Red Barrel – Diary of a Little Aviator and Qlione, available for for Windows on Desura and DRM-free. Orange_Juice’s Flying Red Barrel offers colorful graphics and innovative scoring mechanics not to mention bullet hell shooting that’s deliciously violent. Shindenken’s Qlione is a unique 2-D shooter game that’s based on a lone amoeba and is equally challenging yet optically stunning, offering psychedelic vector backgrounds and gorgeous, splashy explosions!

Last up is a violent yet disturbingly cute game that offers a welcome distraction from studying, Cute Things Dying Violently — brought to you by ApathyWorks (along with its OST!) available for Windows on Desura and DRM-free. This goofy yet warped title, previously a critical hit on Xbox Live Indie Games, offers 60 mind-bending levels, half-dozen unlockable special levels, and according to Joystiq is a “delightful puzzle game” that you’ll wanna try!

Indie Royale’s Getaway Bundle available now

Indie Royale is back, of course, with a new bundle titled the Getaway Bundle. This bundle features six games and some music as usual. For a little under $6, you can pick up Analogue: A Hate Story, Shattered Horizon, Da New Guys, Waves, Miniflake, and Super Amazing Wagon Adventure. Each game is available for Desura except for Shattered Horizon; however, Shattered Horizon, Analogue: A Hate Story and Waves are the only available games for Steam. If you pay $8 or more, you’ll receive the album Handheld Heroes Volume 1 by Handheld Heroes. Also by just paying for the bundle, you’ll also receive the Da New Guys, Waves, and Analogue: A Hate Story‘s official soundtracks with the six games. Check out the trailer below along with the official blog post detailing all the games. Also here’s the official website.

Indie Royale is back with a bundle that will take you on unique adventures from the comfort of your own living room: “travel” to the moon, the American Old West, a starship called the Mungunghwa, and more with the Getaway Bundle featuring six independent games, including exclusive debut Super Amazing Wagon Adventure!

The first exotic location on the itinerary is the moon where you can fight a zero-gravity death match in Futuremark’s unique multiplayer FPS Shattered Horizon available for Windows on Steam. Celebrated by Strategy Informer for game mechanics that create “thought-provoking gameplay”, Shattered Horizon offers unique combat features, realistic space gameplay, 32 player battles and huge levels that offer hours of gameplay. Top contributors will be rewarded for their generosity in this bundle; the top 10 contributors will receive a Shattered Horizon t-shirt; in addition, the top 5 contributors will also receive a meteorite sample from the Sikhote-Alin meteorite (Russia, 1947) with display case and certificate of authenticity. NOTE: Shattered Horizon requires DirectX 10, a DirectX 10 compatible video card, and Windows Vista or Windows 7.

Next up is Christine Love’s visual novel-style game, Analogue: A Hate Story, which takes place thousands of years in the future and is also loosely based on the Joseon Dynasty in Korea, available for Windows, Mac and Linux on Steam, Desura and DRM-free. A current Indiecade Finalist, this game is focused around finding out the fate of a ship with the help of the ship’s two AIs after it re-appears 600 years following its mysterious disappearance whilst on a mission to establish an interstellar colony. Also included are the Space and Science DLC and the original soundtrack. PC Gamer calls Analogue: A Hate Story “ingeniously constructed” and states that “watching its narrative clockwork spinning is a huge part of the appeal.”

Offered along this journey is an Indie Royale exclusive debut; adventure on the Oregon Trail with Sparse Vector’s game, Super Amazing Wagon Adventure available for Windows on Desura and DRM-free. This 2D shooter offers random gameplay elements and a mission to traverse fires, avalanches and time travel while fighting against bears, giant spiders, buffalo herds, snakes, scorpions, sharks, bandits, wolves and aliens. Originally developed for XBLIG, Eurogamer raved about the XBLIG version of Super Amazing Wagon Adventure : “Hilariously weird, with a solid gameplay base, it’s really quite brilliant.”

Also offered on the “getaway” is a look behind the scenes of a professional wrestling ring with retro point-and-click adventure from Wadjet Eye Games: Da New Guys, available for Windows on Desura and DRM-free (also included is the original soundtrack). Da New Guys is based on 3 wrestlers from England (Brain, Simon and Defender) who have immigrated to America. The story begins with the kidnapping of Brain and his recently won medal; Simon and Defender embark on a journey to save Brain which leads them to the city’s darkest corners. Da New Guys offers pixel hunts, puzzles, a lighthearted story, tongue-in-cheek RPG elements and quirky dialogue.

Included in the Getaway Bundle is a twin-stick shooter from Squid In A Box Waves, available for Windows on Steam, Desura and DRM-free, which offers a rather unique destination that is “out of this world.” Waves is different from other games of its kind by rewarding you for killing your enemies by triggering a slow-motion buffer and the ability to bomb them; it offers quite lively chiptune tracks and some strategy elements when it comes to killing enemies. Offering five different modes, leaderboards and 20 levels Waves was recognized by Eurogamer as one of the “finest examples of the twin-stick arcade shooter genre to arrive in recent years.”

Last up is I-Game-Art’s retro 1bit RPG miniFlake available for Windows on Desura and DRM-free. A roguelike RPG, miniFlake offers great chiptune music; retro sound effects; and randomly generated dungeons, overworld maps location names, and NPCs. The goal of the game is to pillage dungeons, and this gets increasingly difficult with each level. MiniFlake is still an Alpha: an updated build will be made available on your Indie Royale Key Page every time developer updates it (and the Desura version will automatically update).

Finally, those who pay $8 USD or their currency equivalent during the Getaway Bundle will get ‘Handheld Heroes Volume One’ a project, directed by Saskrotch which consists of 41-tracks from leading chiptune artists. Featuring familiar artists like Wizwars, Alex Mauer, Heosphoros, little-scale, OxygenStar, Goto80, zabutom, IAYD, Bit Shifter, this compilation pays homage to Game Boy, Master System, NES, Game Boy Advance, Amiga and a myriad of other “old skool” consoles.

You can find more information on Getaway Bundle, including real-time statistics and its current price, on its official website or via its Facebook and Twitter pages. And a final reminder – get in early while the prices are still low (unless generous contributors drop the price), so “get away” and grab a bundle today!

Indie Royale has launched their July Jubilee Bundle

Indie Royale is back with the July Jubilee Bundle and brings six games for your pleasure. The games that are included are: Puzzle Agent, Geneforge Saga, Oniken, Mutant Storm Reloaded, Swift☆Stitch, and Unepic. Puzzle Agent along with the Geneforge Saga and Mutant Storm Reloaded are all available on Steam and Desura. The other games, Oniken, Swift☆Stitch, and Unepic are available on Desura. Each game is playable on Windows; however, Puzzle Agent, Geneforge Saga,  and Swift☆Stitch are the only ones available on Mac. The current pricing is set at the minimum of $5.46. Pick up your bundle here before it ends in less than seven days. Also here’s a detailed description of the games after the trailer.

First up is a super-smart indie adventure with a puzzle twist: Telltale Games’ Puzzle Agent. Downloadable for Windows and Mac on Steam, Desura and DRM-free, this game uses indie comic creator Graham Annable’s unique art style to reveal FBI Agent, Nelson Tethers, who is on his first mission for the U.S. Department of Puzzle Research. Check out the game that AdventureGamers dubs “a charming lite adventure filled with quirky characters and challenging puzzles that anyone can enjoy solving”, featuring 30+ puzzles spanning math, logic and spatial thinking.

Next up are five old-school, open-world RPGs brought to you by Spiderweb Software: the Geneforge Saga, now available for Windows on Steam and Windows and Mac on Desura and DRM-free. Set in an alternate sci-fi/fantasy universe, DIY Gamer explains of the old-school RPG: “The whole series is very highly regarded, with each game giving you a rough overarching goal, but lets you go about it however you see fit, developing your own character and your personal squad of mutant minions to tackle the challenges.” So what are you waiting for?

Also offered in this bundle is a much buzzed-about 2D platformer inspired by 8-bit action games from the NES era: Oniken, available for Windows on Desura and DRM-free. Play a ninja named Zuku as you slash and hack your way through a dystopian future and battle a dominant military organization of cybernetic warriors known as the Oniken. Offering uber challenging boss fights, a campy sense of humor and great old school 8 bit music, this game can’t be missed. Destructoid celebrates Oniken for its presentation: “Oniken feels like a project holistically designed around one person’s love of ’80s action film and ’90s anime imports.”

Included in this bundle is Pom Pom’s critically acclaimed psychedelic shmup Mutant Storm Reloaded available for Windows on Steam, Desura and DRM-free. Offering over 89 (!) levels of frenetic fun, each level starts off easy, but quickly works up to large, tentacle creatures and regenerating enemies that are require skill to beat. You can’t miss this game, recognized by Eurogamer for being “thrilling, constantly surprising, and possessed of a wonky beauty that makes it unforgettable. … It’s a bit like finding yourself in the midst of a parasite disco staged within the womb of a jelly baby.”

Also “marching” in this parade of great indie games are two games from Sophie Houlden: Swift*Stitch available for Windows and Mac on Desura and DRM-free and a bonus game that was created during the Indie Buskers game jam: Rose and Time available for Windows and Mac as a DRM Free standalone. Swift*Stitch offers a plethora of levels, and this game challenges you *not* to press buttons to power your ship but to press the right buttons at the right moment to make it to the end of the maze. Included is a trancelike soundtrack from Aeronic that nicely contrasts to Swift*Stitch’s razor-focused play. Also included is Rose and Time, a clever time travel stealth game offering ten levels with a catch: you have to make sure the past you doesn’t see the present you, because that would create a paradox.

Rounding out the bundle is Francisco Téllez de Meneses’ labor of love, Unepic available for Windows on Desura and DRM-free. Unepic cleverly combines an RPG with a platformer and offers a quirky sense of humor throughout. Play as Daniel, an average gamer/geek who gets teleported to a fantasy castle while using the restroom during a D&D Game. Destructoid calls Unepic a “unique gaming experience” suggesting that this game is definitely worth a try if you “enjoy running around in castles, jumping around platforms and figuring out the best way to slay monsters.” Also available to July Jubilee Bundle purchasers are the “Royale Ring” (offering extra health and experience in each game) and 100 “Unepic Credits” (available via a downloadable key) that you can use to grab special in-game items.

Finally, those who pay $8 USD or their currency equivalent during the July Jubilee Bundle will get ‘Insert’ from Japanese chiptune legend Prof.SAKAMOTO, a $7 value on its own. This clever concept album, about a future where inhabitants have game cartridge slots on the top of their heads, comes from an artist also famous for his unique Final Fantasy piano performances on YouTube.

First up is award-winning arcade real-time strategy game from Oxeye Game Studio, Harvest: Massive Encounter, co-created by current Minecraft lead coder Jens Bergensten, and downloadable for Windows, Mac and Linux on Steam, Desura and DRM-free. In this RTS/tower defense title making its first-ever bundle inclusion, offering battles of epic proportions with a unique style of resource management and exploration. According to IGN, “Harvest is a tower defense game with a goal of achieving high scores rather than a congratulatory, ‘You’ve triumphed! The galaxy is safe again,’ followed by a ‘Game Over.'” So it’s a perfect way to while away the summer days inside!

Next up is a brand new update of a classic point-and-click adventure game from SkyGoblin Games,The Journey Down: Chapter One available for Windows, Mac and Linux on Desura and DRM-free. Play Bwana and his trusted sidekick Kito who struggle to make ends meet at their run-down gas station, as they embark on a spine-tingling adventure far from home and into a twisting plot of corruption and danger. Kotaku describes The Journey Down as a “delightful change of pace… (the) Afro-Caribbean setting is one that’s very rarely used in video games, and comes with a great palette of colors and art to pull from.”

Also making a bundle debut is the long-lost Serious Sam II, Croteam’s twitch-tastic 2005 shooter sequel, brought back by Devolver Digital in 2012, and now available for Windows on Steam. IGN said of the game at the time of its release: “The action is fast and intense from start to finish. You’ll have tons of beasts to blast and a wide variety of vibrant levels to run through” – and that’s still just as true now!

Also included in this bundle a four-pack of top imported Japanese shmups from Rockin’ Android, starting with all three games from Platine Dispositif’s ‘Gundemonium’ trilogy, available for Windows on Steam, Desura and DRM-Free: Gundemonium Recollection, GundeadliGne and Hitogata Happa. These three games, which span both horizontal and vertical scrolling, offer remarkably complex, yet flexible gameplay as you enjoy bullet-hell shoot-’em-up gameplay in a cartoonish steampunk universe. Notably, DIYGamer says of the collection: these games “have huge replay value. They’re score-attack games, intended to be played dozens of times on a variety of modes and mastered thoroughly over time.”

The fourth game from Rockin’ Android is Orange_Juice’s Acceleration of Suguri-X Edition, available for Windows on Desura and DRM-Free. According to GameSpot, this game “offers a delicious mix of arena fighting and bullet-hell chaos.” By mixing a shmup and competitive arena fighting, Acceleration of Suguri-X Edition offers a depth-filled game, inspired by Japanese titles like Senko No Ronde, and featuring eleven levels of gameplay, a techno-trance soundtrack and schoolgirls who duke it out over who gets to eat the last pudding on earth. What more could you ask for?

Finishing everything up, the bundle also features Dino Run SE from Pixeljam, available for Windows, Mac and Linux on Desura and DRM-Free. This pixel-heavy indie classic is presented in a Special Edition, enhancing the Flash original with speed runs, extra multiplayer maps, hats, and other notable upgrades. Based off a pixelated prehistoric world, escape the inevitable doom wave of extinction by controlling a speedy raptor across tar pits, crumbling hillsides and meteorite showers while gobbling up anything that gets in the way.

As a one-off bonus, the bundle also includes another chance to get your hands on a Steam Windows Beta key to hot F2P action-RTS AirMech, with bonus in-game item: an exclusive Indie Royale “Fleur de Lis” Companion/Pet for your AirMech! Excusive to the Summer Bundle, this is one of the very first cosmetic items for AirMech. AirMech is still in closed beta on Steam right now, making these codes very difficult to come by, so many thanks to Carbon Games for partnering with us to offer these keys to all our valued customers.

Finally, those who pay $8 USD or their currency equivalent during the Summer Bundle will get ‘Pixeljams Volume 1’ compilation – featuring tunes from top electronic artists like Miles Tilmann, Datassette, Mark DeNardo, + Dosh – normally a $5 value on its own. This collection of new and old tracks from the Pixeljam team (Dino Run) offers up nine tracks of pure bleepy joy. Indie Royale’s June Bug Bundle features PixelJunk Eden as headliner

Despite the amazing response to Humble Bundle V, the indie bundles will continue to chug themselves out even if they won’t live up to Humble Bundle V’s success anytime soon. Today Indie Royale released their next bundle, the June Bug Bundle. While not as completely awesome as Humble Bundle V, the bundle still highlights some very nice indie titles and of course a chiptune album. The June Bug Bundle features the PlayStation Network hit by Q-Games PixelJunk Eden, Konjak’s Noitu Love 2, Cipher Prime Studios’ particle puzzler Auditorium, and the PC debut of Xbox Live Indie Games Escape Goat from Magical Time Bean. Additionally, Indie Royale has included Konjak’s Iconoclasts in its alpha build. Also if you pay $7 or more you’ll receive 8 Bit Weapon’s chiptune album, Bits With Byte. Currently the bundle is running around $4.45. Pick it up now before it ends on June 21st.

Headlining the bundle is Independent Games Festival nominee PixelJunk Eden – an organic therapeutic platformer from Q Games available for Windows on Steam. Re-imagined for PC with new features and controls, this version of the game will feel brand new for even the most seasoned veterans of the PS3 version. Swing, climb, and jump your way through massive gardens of psychedelic plant-life.

Featuring a unique and entrancing Baiyon soundtrack, 1UP says about PixelJunk Eden, “The elegant pairing of a psychedelic aesthetic and smart, addictive platforming mechanics is a rare find indeed.”

Next up is the Indie Royale-exclusive enhanced PC debut of Magical Time Bean’s homage to classic puzzle platformer Escape Goat, available for Windows on Desura and DRM-free. Destructoid describes Escape Goat as “an awesome retro game with a rockin’ soundtrack.” This Xbox Live Indie Games hit, only available on PC via Indie Royale and including a whole new game world and enhanced level editor, revolves around a magical purple goat who journeys through hell with the help of a mouse!

Also part of the bundle is Cipher Prime’s award-winning musical puzzler Auditorium, available for Windows and Mac on Steam, Desura, and DRM-free. Macworld calls Auditorium “a really intriguing and addictive multisensory experience – part puzzle game, part light sculpture, part musical instrument.” Turn colors into sound to solve increasingly complex puzzles and manipulate light to create beautiful music.

Finally, Joakim ‘Konjak’ Sandberg’s retro action side-scroller Noitu Love 2: Devolution, is available for Windows on Steam, Desura and DRM-Free. Inspired by classic arcade action games, you must take down the hordes of enemies through seven different stages as the new hero of the Peacekeepers, Xoda Rap. Features include unique mouse controls for super-fast action and an old school soundtrack for 8-bit nostalgia bliss. A.V. Club calls this IGF finalist, “A study in motion, pastiche, and mayhem.”

Also included as a bonus is an exclusive updated Alpha Preview version of Joakim Sandberg’s much anticipated upcoming 2D platformer, Iconoclasts. This version is updated from the much earlier version found on Joakim’s website. In a world ruled where science and industry is controlled exclusively by the theocratric government, play as Robin, a renegade mechanic, while she modifies herself using treasures and takes on unique enemies requiring finesse and skill.

Here’s a more detail description of the Graduation Bundle by the organizers themselves.

The Indie Royale game bundle site returns with the Graduation Bundle, offering five fantastic independent games available at a bargain, fluctuating price – including cult Russian first-person classic The Void, an exclusive PC debut for 8-bit zombie shooter Dead Pixels, and multiple copies of multiplayer murder mystery The Ship. Plus you get early Steam Beta access to hot F2P action-RTS AirMech with an Indie Royale-exclusive in-game item code!

Headlining the bundle is Ice Pick Lodge’s cult classic action-adventure The Void, available for Windows on Steam, Desura, and DRM-free. In this beautifully art-directed first-person game from the Russian creators of Pathologic, you must guide your lost soul through the Void, a space trapped between life and death. Use color as your health and ammo as you discover the dark secrets hidden by the beautiful Sisters and monstrous Brothers. PC Gamer UK called The Void, “An astounding world, and a flagship for the imagination and capability of independent game developers.” Clash with golems, bloodthirsty predators and other spawn of the Void as you fight for your lost soul.

Next up is CSR Studios’ retro zombie side-scrolling shooter Dead Pixels, available for the first time ever on Windows for Desura and DRM-free. In this conversion of the hit 8-bit style Xbox Live Indie Games title, a toxic waste spill has found its way into the water supply and the dead have risen from their graves. Take on waves of zombies as you make your way to salvation before it’s too late. The city is never the same twice, so there’s always something hiding around the corner! Featuring 22 types of zombies to blast, upgradable weapons and items, and all the free additions from the XBLIG version, such as the “Last Stand” and “The Solution” game modes, it’s time to get your boomstick ready.

Also featured is Outerlight’s first-person, multiplayer-centric nautical action game The Ship, available for Windows on Steam only, and with each copy coming with two extra Steam keys to send to your friends! (Those copies each have one extra gift activation too!) Set in a 1920s cruise ship, players must murder their assigned target while at the same time avoiding the player hunting them. Be careful not to be spotted murdering your victim, or it’s off to jail. Use all the weapons at your disposal, including crowbars, swords, flare guns, and many more. Featuring a unique bonus single-player story and an addictive online mode, Source Engine title The Ship is unlike any other first-person experience.

The bundle also includes The Odd Man Out’s illuminating puzzle platformer 1000 Amps, available for Windows and Mac on Steam, Desura and DRM-Free. As Plug, you are charged with restoring the expansive Amp-Tree-System. You light up whatever you touch, and Rock Paper Shotgun says of the game, “It’s witty in its minimalist design, its use of sound cues is exemplary, the jumping is pixel perfect, and the ability to put a smile on my face with every single completed room is a joyous thing.” Solve puzzles and teleport to new areas to bring light to the whole world!

Rounding out the bundle is Monster Jail Games’ eccentric Metroidvania-ish 8-bit platformer LaserCat, available for Windows on Desura and DRM-free. Explore the castle of the evil Wizzord, as you search for the keys littered throughout the world. Featuring wacky trivia questions and a little cat ghost left behind every time you die, LaserCat has an uncommonly good sense of humor, with cues taken from games old (Jet Set Willy) and new (VVVVVV).

Included in the bundle is a special exclusive bonus, a Steam Beta key to hot F2P action-RTS AirMech with Indie Royale-only in-game item code – the Graduation Cap (+5% persistent XP)! The much-hyped AirMech is in closed beta on Steam right now, making these codes very hard to come by, so infinite thanks to Carbon Games for partnering with us to offer these keys to all our valued customers. (And we’ll be unlocking one more game for all buyers during the bundle itself – watch our social media feeds for info!)

Finally, those who pay $7 USD or their currency equivalent during the Graduation Bundle get Cheap Dinosaurs’ self-titled album in .FLAC and HQ .MP3 – the long-awaited first official release from the chiptune prog rockers, and normally a $6 value on its own.

Indie Facekick releases their next bundle: Be In The Game bundle

Indie FaceKick is back with a brand new bundle titled “Be In the Game”. This bundle is available for a minimum of $1 because for the first time ever, Indie FaceKick has gone with the pay-what-you-want concept seen in many indie game bundles. The minimum of $1 will net you three games: Alien Hallway, Arkhelom 3D, and Tompi Jones. However if you pay $5, you’ll receive Depth Hunter and Alien Shooter 2: Conscription. In addition to the games and regardless of how much you pay, you’ll receive music as well! You’ll get the official soundtrack for Arkhelom 3D as well as music from Pete Mitchell’s Band and Gary R. Bundle In A Box has launched

Kyttaro Games’ Bundle In A Box is available now. So far it features seven games, two of which are only available for those who pay above the average: Metal Dead and The Shivah. The main games in this adventure bundle are: Gemini Rue; Ben There Dan That! Special Edition; Time Gentlemen, Please!; The Sea Will Claim Everything (a brand new text-based adventure game release); and 1893: A World’s Fair Mystery. Those five games are available for around $2.94 at the moment. However if you wish for the extra two games, you’ll have to pay around $5.76. In addition to the games, the organizers added in three extras to start off: Gemini Rue soundtrack, Metal Dead booklet, and The Shivah soundtrack. Also for each 10,000 sale another extra will unlock as well as for every 500 purchases the minimum price will drop $0.05. The organizers chose a Greek charity that is very personal to them; it’s called Perivolaki – The Hellenic Centre for Mental Health and Treatment of Child and Family. In addition, for every 15,000 bundles sold $2,000 will be added to the Indie Dev Grant fund, which will then be given to one chosen developer once the bundle’s time runs out.

For those who pay above the average:

  • Metal Dead by Walk Thru Walls (direct, Desura)
  • The Shivah by Wadjet Eye Games (direct download only)

In just a week, we’ll be blessed with a brand new indie game bundle from Kyttaro Games. Bundle In A Box will release on May 23rd. Indie Royale’s All-Charity Lightning Pack goes live

Indie Royale’s Lightning Pack has just arrived, sporting four games and three albums if you pay a minimum of $7. This bundle is a bit different from the rest because this bundle all proceeds go directly to charity. It’s Indie Royale’s All-Charity Pack. The four charities the developers chose to support are UNICEF’s Haiti Aid, Amnesty International, the EFF and ActionAid, which you are able to decide how you would like your money divide amongst them. For this bundle, your money will net you these four games plus Mat Jarvis’ (under the name High Skies) album, Sounds of Earth.

In addition to the games if you chose to support above $7, you will also receive these three chiptune albums: Jake Kaufman’s FX4 (Retro City Rampage composer), Disasterpeace’s Level (Fez composer), and a new EP from 6955 titled IN1ep (Super T.I.M.E Force composer).

Every game is a Windows only game, except for Osmos which is available for Windows, Mac, and Linux. Also you’ll receive keys for every game except The Shivah, which is only available on Desura or through the Windows DRM-free download. Each game is available for Desura.

The bundle is going on for 100 hours. If you feel like supporting and are able to take a break from your Diablo III gameplay, head over to the official website.

Kyttaro Games details a bit more about their indie game bundle

More bundles coming! This one is titled Bundle In A Box which I wrote about back in April here. The bundle might possibly come out in May or perhaps later, but this bundle will be similar in its paying concept like that of other popular bundles. This will be a pay-what-you-want bundle with a minimum price; however unlike Indie Royale’s (one of the may) re-adjusting price to the monetary value of each person’s donation, Kyttaro Games‘ bundle will be a “constant dropping” minimum price.

Also every game will be DRM-free with possibly Steam and Desura keys for those people like me, who like to keep their games in one place. There will additionally be tons of non-gaming bonuses such as a soundtrack that will be part of the bundle as well.

This bundle is supposed to be an adventure bundle. Kyttaro Games has gone on to mention the bundle will contain a gaming genre that has never before been seen in an indie game bundle before.

You must flip around the screen with a magic umbrella and push objects around as well as collect zipper pulls in order to advance. Check out the trailer to learn more about the cute concept and gameplay.

It’s that time again, spring comes and so does a new Indie Royale bundle

Today Indie Royale released their Spring Bundle. The new bundle features 6 games and a bonus soundtrack if you pay $5 or more. If you choose that option, you’ll receive Danimal Cannon’s ‘Root’ album. You’ll find the list of games below with links. I’ll provide a synopsis link once Indie Royale releases it. In addition, Unstoppable Gorg, Depths of Peril, and Tobe’s Vertical Adventure are the only three games redeemable through Steam; however Tobe’s Vertical Adventure is not available on Macs.

Unstoppable Gorg (Futuremark)

Depths of Peril (Soldak)

Tobe’s Vertical Adventure (Secret Base)

Inferno+ (RadianGames)

Slydris (RadianGames)

Ballistic (RadianGames)

This bundle ends April 25th, so get it now before time expires.

Here’s a synopsis of the bundle from the bundle creators if you are unfamiliar with the games.

“The bundle starts off with Futuremark’s standout tower defense title Unstoppable Gorg, available for Windows and Mac on Steam, and Windows-only for Desura/DRM-free. The game is packed with campy 1950s sci-fi film nostalgia, with TotalBiscuit praising its “interesting and innovative [gameplay] mechanics”, as the player takes on rubbery aliens by rotating weapons through outer-space orbits.

Also featured is Soldak Entertainment’s in-depth action RPG Depths of Peril, available for Windows and Mac on Steam, Desura, and DRM-free. The title, described by GamesRadar as “Diablo meets STALKER” on its original release, features tens of hours of questing and combat in a living game world, where competing factions – run by the AI – battle the player for supremacy.

Also joining the Spring Bundle is Secret Base’s smile-inducing 2D platformer, Tobe’s Vertical Adventure, for Windows on Steam. The alluring 16-bit experience offers two characters with distinct platforming mechanics. Tobe and his crush, Nana, in what IGN calls a “standout platformer” with a “classic gameplay hook and charmingly nostalgic approach.”

Finally, Indie Royale favorite Radiangames (Super Crossfire) returns with not one, but _three_ intense arcade-style titles – available DRM-free and on Desura for Windows and Mac. Inferno is a 40+ level, atmospheric twin-stick action-RPG starring drones. Slydris is an addictive block-based puzzler with a catchy electronica soundtrack, and Ballistic’s intense twin-stick Geometry Wars-style arcade action is filled with concentric waves of devious enemies.

Finally, those who pay $5 USD or their currency equivalent during the Spring Bundle get Danimal Cannon’s ‘Roots’ music album – one of the most acclaimed chiptune releases of 2011, and featuring a combination of wicked Game Boy DMG-01 and shreddin’ guitar-centric remixes in 320k .MP3 and .FLAC formats.”

Thanks again!
