Capcom announces new Dungeons & Dragons games, Mega-Man game might be in the works

Gamer Informer

During the “World of Capcom” PAX East panel, Brett Elston from Capcom made the announcement that a new Mega-Man game is on the horizon; however, later a rep explained “‘there are still discussions going on about [Mega Man] and that we won’t announce anything until something is ready. We have not confirmed there is a MM game yet'” (Destructoid). But come April 25th and May 16th, Mega-Man 4 and Mega-Man 5 will release on the 3DS eShop.

Additionally, Dungeons & Dragons: Chronicles of Mystara is scheduled to release in June. The game is a refined and remastered version of two games, Tower of Doom and Shadow Over Mystara,  which will be available for PC, PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and Wii U.

Resident Evil 6 will feature a campaign for Ada Wong that will be unlocked after completing the main game. Additionally, you’ll be able to control a monster in an attempt to invade another person’s game and kill their character. This new concept is known as Agent Hunt mode. For more information about the game and its campaigns, check out this article from Eurogamer. Below is a trailer for the Ada Wong campaign as well. Get ready to wield a crossbow in the newly announced single-player campaign.

Resident Evil 6 trio trailers

These Resident Evil 6 trailers basically compile all the gameplay we’ve seen from E3 and other demos into 3-minute clips though there are some new images. Oh and it highlights all six players: Leon Kennedy, Chris Redfield, Jake Muller, Helena Harper, Piers Nivans, and Sherry Birkin.

Resident Evil: Damnation won’t be hitting the West until 2013

The new 3D CG animated film will release on DVD and Blu-ray sometime in June 2013. But it will release in Japanese cinemas on October 27, 2012. Here’s the trailer of the upcoming title. Also Resident Evil: Retribution (the live action one with Milla Jovovich) will release in theatres on September 14th for the US.

Resident Evil 6 demos – Chris and Jake

With all the gameplay footage, I feel like Resident Evil 6 is practically just all over YouTube and everyone knows what happens in the game. Obviously, that’s not true; but still there’s definitely more gameplay videos about this title than any other game I’ve read about. Below are two demos about Chris and Jake. I definitely wasn’t expecting the enemy’s mutation of his arm into a bullet-proof bat-wing shield. That’s some spiffy genetics for you.

Resident Evil-themed restaurant to hit Tokyo

Biohazard Cafe & Grill S.T.A.R.S. is an upcoming Resident Evil-themed restaurant located in Shibuya Parco Part-1 department store in Tokyo. The restaurant will open Friday, July 13th and will feature the  Dance Team S.T.A.R.S. Angelique and limited-edition items. I wonder what kind of items will be on the menu and how creative the food will appear. Japan has a lot of these themed restaurants which would be a pretty fun experience.

Check out brand new Resident Evil 6 gameplay featuring Leon Kennedy and his partner Helena Harper. The trailers below are “spoilers” to part of the game, so be mindful if you care about that. Otherwise, enjoy.

All four films didn’t exist, Resident Evil: Retribution brings back Alice and everyone else, well almost

Resident Evil is one of those films that I watch because it’s just interesting and amusing for the special effects and destruction. Well come this September 14th, the Resident Evil series is not only having a video game and an anthology collection released in October, but also Resident Evil: Retribution will be premiering worldwide in 3D and IMAX 3D. The popular survival horror franchise is giving many fans something to look forward to considering the PC release of Resident Evil: Operation Raccoon City in July, the all-the-previous-films-were-a-lie Resident Evil: Retribution movie debut in September, and the much anticipated release on Resident Evil 6 are all scheduled to keep fans busy in the year 2012. The film, of course, focuses on the protagonist Alice, who is once again recapture by the Umbrella Corporation and continues to hunt those people responsible for the outbreak. The cast consists of many characters from the Capcom video game franchise such as Jill Valentine and Leon S. Kennedy. However, both Claire and Chris Redfield will not reappear in the film and that is explained through their capture by the Umbrella Corporation. The movie will take us to Tokyo, New York, Washington D.C. and even Moscow. Additionally Rain Ocampo will be returning after her death in the first Resident Evil film. Michelle Rodriguez will reprise her role as the Umbrella Corporation operative, who is now cloned and includes a “Good Rain” and an “Evil Rain”. Check out the debut trailer below and here’s the official website for the upcoming film.

Both the PS3 and the Xbox 360 have different versions of the anthology. Check out the list below. PlayStation 3’s anthology is a far better deal in terms of games; however, Xbox 360’s anthology has the Resident Evil: Degeneration film which is pretty good.

E3 gameplay trailers: Resident Evil 6, Halo 4, Call of Duty: Black Ops II

I’m excited for Resident Evil 6. Below is the E3 gameplay trailer which highlights Leon Kennedy as RE 6‘s protagonist with a new partner named Helena Harper. RE 6 is scheduled to released on October 2nd for Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3. The PC version will be released at a later date.

Developed by 343 Industries, Halo 4 is another game that’s highly anticipated to release this fall. The fourth installment will release on November 6th for Xbox 360 of course. Players will able to play as the “Master Chief”. Check out the gameplay trailer and live action trailer below.

Developed by Treyarch and published by Activision, Call of Duty is coming back this fall with Call of Duty: Black Ops II. The ninth installment of the franchise is set in 2025 and will feature a new cold war between China and the United States. From Call of Duty: Black Ops, Alex Mason is re-appearing in the sequel. Resident Evil 6 finally has a release date and a new trailer

If you’ve been keeping up with the details about Capcom’s Resident Evil 6, you should be elated to know the original release date of November 20th of this year has been brought forward to October 2nd. Check out the new trailer below which introduces a new protagonist. I just hope they get this to PC sooner than the last couple of games from the series though. Also watch the official release trailer that debuted back in January, if you didn’t get a chance after the new “Captivate” trailer.
