Steam’s midweek madness reduces indie tower-defense, Dungeon Defenders


Supposedly Steam’s summer sale will begin on the 12th making this midweek madness sale the last for the next two weeks. Dungeon Defenders has received the special Steam discount this week at 66% off. Dungeon Defenders latest Quest of Lost Eternia Shards DLC is available now at just $3.99. But even if you don’t want to shell out $4 for a DLC, the other DLCs are all 66% off and range from $0.33-$1.69. Additionally if you don’t own this indie tower defense game, you can pick up the game for just $5.09 as pretty cheap try-out. The Trendy Entertainment game mixes tower defense, action, strategy, and RPG into one allowing you to immerse yourself in the quirky game solo or with a buddy or two. The game supports both PC and Mac versions and uses Steamplay (just a one time purchase and you get both editions). The sale ends on Thursday at 7.oopm EST.

Dungeon Defenders receives new hero in Summoner Hero DLC


Trendy Entertainment’s Dungeon Defenders has received a new DLC pack that’s currently now only available on Steam for $3.99. The new hero gives 12 characters’ to the Dungeon Defenders‘ roster and adds new replay value to the game. The Summoner may call down minions to attack for him and can retreat to focus on supervising his real-time strategy. In addition, the Summoner can heal his allies with a certain radius. Indie Royale added games and music bonuses before it ends on May 10th

Indie Royale’s May Hurray Bundle goes live


It’s that time again there’s another Indie Royale Bundle. This time it’s titled the May Hurray Bundle. I didn’t even realize it was time for another bundle, for a second I thought this was one of Indie Royale’s Lightning Bundles. Anyway, this bundle features the lineup of Dungeon Defenders (Tower Defense, Trendy Entertainment), Containment: The Zombie Puzzler (Survival puzzle game, Boot Snake Games), Data Jammers: FastForward (Driving, Digital Eel), Brainpipe – A Plunge to Unhumanity (Strategy, Digital Eel), and Weird Worlds: Return to Infinite Space (Sandbox adventure, Digital Eel).

That’s three Digital Eel games, similar to the last Indie Royale Bundle that boasted three games of RadianGames. If you pay $7.oo you’ll also receive Starscream’s album, Future, Toward the Edge of Tomorrow. All games are available for Windows and every game except Weird Worlds: Return to Infinite Space is available for Steam. Also Dungeon Defenders and Brainpipe – A Plunge to Unhumanity are the only two games available for Mac as well.
