Steam’s midweek madness shows off Dead Island and Thief series; Dead Island to receive GOTY Edition

Steam’s has their midweek madness sale highlight Dead Island and Thief. Dead Island just received its Game of the Year Edition announcement. The GOTY Edition will be available on June 26th for both the United States and Canada. The game will be available in Europe on July 6th. Dead Island: Game of the Year Edition will include the original game with the previous DLCs (the Bloodbath Arena mode, Ryder White storyline DLC, The Ripper weapon blueprint). Probably to celebrate the announcement, Steam has made the Deep Silver game 60% off. You may now purchase Dead Island for just $11.99 with its DLCs available for $3.99.

In addition, Steam has made Ion Storm and Looking Glass Studios’ Thief series available on Steam by adding Thief II: The Metal Age and Thief Gold to their catalog. Because of the new launch to Steam, they have made each game available for 50% off their original price which has put each game at $4.99 until Thursday, May 24th.
