Steam discounts Magicka and Spellforce series

For this week’s midweek madness, Steam has discount the Spellforce and Magicka series. Spellforce is available at 66% off, while Magicka is a whopping 75% off as usual. You can pick up the game itself for just $2.49, but the entire game and its DLCs is available for just $8.74. I highly recommend Magicka. It is a a very fun game to play with friends as the spell effects and the friendly fire makes an overall hilarious experience. Nordic Games’ Spellforce is purchasable for just $3.39; however, you can pick up the entire series for just $13.59. The complete edition includes Spellforce – Platinum Edition, Spellforce 2: Faith in Destiny – Digital Extras, Spellforce 2: Faith in Destiny, and Spellforce 2: Gold Edition.  You can pick these two games up until Thursday, September 20th at 7pm EST. Also you can pick up Lego Indiana Jones 2: The Adventure Continues for half-off at $9.99 until 1pm EST today. Now excuse me, while I continue to go play Borderlands 2.

Lego Lord of the Rings outed

For all you Lego video game fans, there will probably be a Lego Lord of the Rings game sometime this fall. The retailer listed October 26th as the release date for their listing (which is now in Google’s cache), but there’s no confirmation as to whether or not that’s true. Also the listing is for Xbox 360, but considering the popularity of the Lego video game series, it’s rather likely the game will be available on other consoles. In addition, the Lego Lord of the Rings product line is coming out later this year along with the new Hobbit film. If this video game is true, it seems a lot is falling into place for Lord of the Rings.
