There have been some pretty nice flash deals for the first day, especially considering I have a good chunk of games. But I am very much thrilled to have scored Saints Row: The Third at 75% off.
Also you can vote for the community pick right now that ends in less than five hours: Rage (66% off), The Darkness II (75% off), or Assassin’s Creed Revelations (66% off). If you’d like Anno 2070 for a bit cheaper and don’t care about it being through Steam, you can pick up a copy of the game for $13.75 at Get Games. They are have a 65% off sale on the title. I also recommend Botanicula and Splice as far as indie games go.

Because We May (concept and production is by Ron Carmel, 2D Boy – World of Goo) will be discounting their games from May 24th to June 1st. The idea is to show that developers have the ability to control their games’ prices by lowering them when they wish to do so, such as like on the last week of May. Discounts will occur on the iOS App Store, Mac App Store, Google Play, Direct from Developer, Other Stores as well as Steam.
Because We May has gotten support from studios Introversion (Defcon, Uplink, etc.), Team Meat (The Binding of Isaac), Dejobaan (AaaaaAAaaaAAAaaAAAAaAAAAA!!! for the Awesome), Gaijin Games (Bit.Trip Runner, etc.), Double Fine (Costume Quest, Stacking, etc.), Hothead (DeathSpank, Penny Arcade Adventures, etc.), Mode 7 (Frozen Synapse) and more; but those are just the games available from Steam. There’s still other games for different platforms which will be on sale.
“We believe that developers should have the freedom to price their games how they like, without interference from the online stores that sell the games. “Why? Because it allows us to promote our games more freely, as we are doing here! We rely on the ability to promote our games for our livelihood and control over pricing is an important tool for this purpose.”
