Warframe is Digital Extremes new free-to-play shooter

Digital Extremes is developing a free-to-play shooter titled Warframe. The same people are also behind the Darkness II, Dark Sector and an upcoming Star Trek game. Yesterday they released a trailer from the game’s pre-alpha stage. While the trailer looks nice, highlighting frozen action scenes, the trailer does not deliver on gameplay besides someone slamming in the ground to only be followed by the Warframe logo. Check out the official website, if this game peeks your interest. Additionally, you can reserve your alias now. Expect a winter 2012 release date for the title.
