Fenway Park Open House today

Today from 9am to 7pm you may walk freely into Fenway Park without the need of a ticket. To your heart’s content you may explore every nook and cranky of baseball’s beloved park. There will be autograph signings (I’m so hoping to snag one or two or more!). “A host of former Red Sox greats including Frank Malzone, John Tudor, Bernie Carbo and Oil Can Boyd will sign autographs in the State Street Pavilion. Alumni will be available throughout the day, changing every hour on the half hour”, according to Boston.com. You’ll be able to purchase merchandise or food from concession stands that will be open throughout the day. Also you have a chance to walk inside the Green Monster, where the scoreboard booth is. There will be memorabilia and artifacts portraying the history Fenway Park has stored and been a part of. In addition, you can learn about the maintenance of the park from the groundskeepers and sit and look at the dugouts and bullpens. I’m so excited; it turns out I will be able to actually go and I’m fully ready to take a ton of pictures.
