Bruins’ Game 3 set in capital against Capitals

The Bruins take on the Capitals tonight at 7.30pm on NESN in Washington D.C. Tonight is Game 3, whoever wins tonight takes a 2-1 series lead.

UPDATE: The Capitals held a 1-0 lead by the end of the 1st period with a shot by Alexander Semin at 16:00. Bruins came back with a goal in the 2nd at 00:35 with a wrist shot by Peverley. However, Alex Ovechkin quickly answered back with a slapshot 13 seconds after the Bruins tied it up, thus giving the Capitals the continued lead. Daniel Paille tied up the game again 2-2 at 9.38. At 01:02 in the third period, the Boston Bruins finally take the lead in regulation for the first time in this series off of Brian Rolston’s wrist shot making the score 3-2. Brooks Laich makes the tying goal in this game in the third at 14:00, leaving the game 3-3. With 1:53 to go in the third period, the Bruins TAKE THE LEAD 4-3!
That wraps it up from Washington D.C. Bruins lead the series 2-1!
